The Climate Mobility Community Action Network (CMCAN), a registered nonprofit organization based in Canada with a global focus, invites young changemakers to apply for its Ambassador Program. This initiative is designed to raise awareness about climate mobility and displacement through collaboration, education, and youth-led action.
About the Program
The program, developed over the past eight months, aims to equip ambassadors with the knowledge and tools needed to educate others about climate mobility. A key resource will be the Youth for Climate Mobility Handbook, which ambassadors can use to support outreach efforts and share knowledge within their networks.
The program will be delivered in two phases. The first phase runs from mid-October to mid-December 2025 and includes nine online workshops. These sessions will focus on deepening participants’ understanding of climate mobility, strengthening professional development, and building effective communication skills for engaging diverse audiences.
In the second phase, from January to June 2026, ambassadors will design and implement their own projects inspired by the workshops and handbook. These projects can take the form of virtual campaigns or in-person initiatives within their communities. Upon completion, CMCAN will feature selected projects on its website and social media channels. Ambassadors will also receive a certificate recognizing their contribution.
