Key Responsibilities
As a Regional Partnership Officer, your week will be varied and focused on empowering your assigned partners. Your responsibilities fall into three main areas: Direct Support, Network Building, and Strategic Growth.
1. Direct Partner Support and Capacity Building
You will be the main point of contact for your assigned partners, providing crucial, hands-on assistance:
- Capacity Building: Act as a consultant and active listener, helping partners with operational sustainability and ad-hoc requests—this could mean reviewing grant proposals, structuring fundraisers, or connecting them to specific talent they need to onboard.
- Impact Tracing: You will utilize GreenCheck’s unique Impact Methodology to track and monitor the progress and impact of your partners’ work.
- Coordination: Schedule and facilitate regular check-in calls and meetings between Partners and the GreenCheck team.
2. Network Strengthening
Part of GreenCheck’s mission is to build a stronger, transregional movement:
- Facilitation: Work with other officers to facilitate powerful Partner-Partner exchanges to share best practices and resources.
- Donor Relations: Help build stronger relationships between Partners and Supporters/Donors.
3. Strategic Vetting and Growth
Your regional expertise is vital to GreenCheck’s expansion:
- New Partner Scouting: Find, assess, and connect GreenCheck to potential high-impact grassroots organizations that meet the selection criteria.
- Expert Insight: During partner selection and evaluation, you are expected to advise the team by providing insight into whether a group’s climate intervention is appropriate, viable, and effective given the local political context and climate-related issues.

GreenCheck is a youth-led nonprofit, and the minimum requirements reflect a need for youth-driven expertise and on-the-ground knowledge.
