The OECD Development Centre is inviting applications for its 2026 Gender Team Internship, based in Paris, France. Running from January to July 2026, this six-month traineeship offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of gender equality, international development, and policy research within one of the world’s most respected global institutions.
As a special body of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Development Centre bridges OECD member countries with developing and emerging economies. Its Gender Team plays a key role in advancing inclusive growth and equality through evidence-based analysis, innovative research, and policy dialogue.
Interns will contribute to the Social Institutions and Gender Index (SIGI) — the OECD’s flagship index that measures discriminatory laws, norms, and practices affecting women’s empowerment worldwide. The next edition of SIGI is set for release in 2027, and interns will be part of the groundwork shaping this major global publication.
