Paid UNICEF internships , Stipend $USD 1,700/month per month : Apply by Dec 19

In crisis zones across the world, millions of children are denied the safety, stability, and future that education provides. Education Cannot Wait (ECW) — the UN’s global fund for education in emergencies — is changing that narrative. This year, ECW is building a roster of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Interns, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of humanitarian action, data, and global education.

Hosted by UNICEF, ECW supports children and youth affected by wars, disasters, and protracted crises. As an intern, you will help shape how evidence, data, and learning drive better education outcomes for the world’s most vulnerable learners.

What You Will Do

Under the supervision of ECW’s M&E team, interns will support the design, analysis, and communication of results from ECW-funded programmes. Your work may include:

Contributing to ECW’s Annual Results Report

– Reviewing and analyzing programme reports
– Checking data quality and coding qualitative data
– Drafting sections on strategic objectives and education outcomes

Supporting Learning & Knowledge Sharing
– Conducting research, literature reviews, and mapping exercises
– Designing interviews, focus groups, and learning exchanges
– Producing learning briefs, blogs, presentations, and other materials

Strengthening ECW’s Data & Information Systems
– Managing databases and tracking tools
– Supporting rollout of ECW’s new information management platform
– Ensuring alignment with M&E processes and data standards

You may also engage in a mid-term independent project aligned with ECW’s mission.
