The World Health Organization is seeking a remote Project Management Consultant to support the GCF-funded project “Enhancing the resilience of health systems to climate change and emerging pandemics in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI).”
RMI is one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable island nations, facing rising disease risks, limited health workforce capacity, and increasing climate-driven health challenges. This project strengthens health systems, builds climate resilience, improves coordination, and supports over 58,000 people through better preparedness and health adaptation.
Your Role:
The consultant will support the project as it enters its final phase—focusing on project management, documentation of lessons learned, and successful project closure.
Key tasks include:
✔️ Managing workplans, trackers, reports & weekly meetings
✔️ Supporting communications, success stories & visibility materials
✔️ Organizing project documentation, knowledge products & best practices
✔️ Supporting national climate-health assessments & integration of data
✔️ Preparing for best practices workshops & closure meetings
✔️ Assisting procurement-related tasks

Qualifications:
- Degree in international development, public health, project management, environmental studies, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in climate & health project management
- Strong communication, analysis, planning & organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with diverse teams
- Excellent English
Contract Details:
- Remote / Home-based
- Payband A: USD 3,995–6,980/month OR USD 198–349/day
- Duration: 80 days over 5 months + 8 days
