Entry Requirements
According to the vacancy circular, applicants should:

- Be Botswana citizens
- Be between 18 and 30 years old
- Be physically and mentally fit
- Have no criminal record
- Be of good character
- Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 and 25
- Not be pregnant at the time of recruitment and must not fall pregnant throughout the duration of training
- Not have visible tattoos on their bodies

Educational Qualifications
Applicants should have:

- Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) or equivalent
- A minimum of 30 points, based on the best six subjects
- At least a C grade or better in English
