About this position
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To safely and efficiently operate and monitor assigned areas of the copper processing plant, support production requirements and maintain safe and reliable plant operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate and monitor assigned plant areas in accordance with approved operating procedures, production requirements and safety standards.
• Operate competently across different plant areas and support stable production performance.
• Monitor process parameters, production output and equipment condition and respond promptly to deviations.
• Carry out plant start-up, shutdown and isolation procedures safely and correctly.
• Identify operational problems, perform basic troubleshooting and escalate equipment faults requiring maintenance intervention.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, operating and shift records.
• Comply with all HSE requirements and maintain high housekeeping standards.
