Programme Overview
Asia House Fellowship offers early-career professionals the opportunity to produce original research on issues shaping developments across Asia and/or the Middle East. Now in its fifth year, the Fellowship provides research support, network access, and publication opportunities.
Programme: Asia House Fellowship Year: 5th cohort (2026/2027) Positions: 2 available Duration: 12 months Stipend: £24,000 (paid in equal instalments) Application Deadline: January 31, 2026 (23:59) Start Date: 2026/2027 academic year Location: Remote possible
Research Focus Areas
Applicants should propose original research on one of the following topics:
- Geopolitics and trade
- Technology, data and AI
- Energy and sustainability

Who Can Apply
Eligibility Requirements:
- Completed Master’s and/or PhD by October 2026
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Early career stage
- Keen interest and knowledge of economic/political/commercial issues affecting Asia and/or Middle East
- Self-driven and enthusiastic
- Leadership potential
- All nationalities welcome
- Can be completed remotely
