Job Purpose
Implement the examination processes in the Leisure and Hospitality fields.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Inspect and collect data on institutions for accreditation as examination centres;
2. Implement set standards and guidelines in execution of the examination process;
3. Prepare marking center documents;
4. Development, moderation and proof reading of test items;
5. Develop assessment tool and examination syllabi;
6. Inspect Industrial training and real life projects;
7. Verify continuous assessment marks/results of candidates from Examination
Centres;
8. Verify candidates’ biodata for registration, and produce registers;
9. Manage performance of staff who directly report to him or her;
10.Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Working Experience
a) An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Leisure and Hospitality Management or Tourism
from a recognized institution;
b) A Diploma in Leisure and Hospitality Management or Tourism management from
a recognized institution;
c) A Teaching qualification is an added advantage;
d) A Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in teaching or world of work;
e) 25 – 40 years of age at entry.
