Job Purpose
To provide support in the managing of records according to established standards and
procedures
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Carry out day-to-day operations of the registry
2. Organise and describe records
3. Open files for keeping information and closing them when due;
4. File information and route to officers responsible for action;
5. Implement records retention and disposal schedules
6. Maintain the registry
7. Facilitate access to the registry and coordinate the transfer of records
8. Receive, register and classify records;
9. Open files for keeping classified information and closing when due;
10.Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Working Experience
a) A minimum of Diploma in Library and Information Science (DLIS) or a Diploma
in Records and Information Management (DRIM)
b) A minimum of one (1) year working experience in Records management in a
reputable organization
c) 20 – 40 years of age at entry.

MODE OF APPLICATION
