Job summary:
The Natural Resources Governance Coordinator will coordinate all natural resource governance and restoration activities, specifically; strengthening the capacity of Kamwenge District, communities, and the refugee settlement in natural resource governance and restoration of ecosystems (rivers, wetlands, and bare hills). S/he will work closely with the Natural Resources Governance Technical Advisor to coordinate the District Natural Resources team and all the stakeholders. S/he will also work closely with the District Natural Resources Officer, the District Environment Officer, and the Camp Commandant. S/he will organise capacity building sessions for the different structures
(resource management committees, parish and sub-county committees) to monitor restoration interventions.
