Job Summary: The Biostatistician takes lead in data analysis and guiding the existence and functionality of a robust data management systems as the platform for generation of quality data to facilitate scientific documentation for Mildmay Uganda supported programs in alignment to National and international standards. The role will involve capacity building of technical teams in data use with the intention to strengthen the organisational learning culture and to contribute knowledge, programme improvement and policy development.
Job Requirements: Masters in Statistics or Biostatistics with 5 years’ experience in analysis of both research and program data and documentation of research and program findings. Candidate must have Knowledge in the generation of maps and analysis of spatial data using spacial software such as ArcGIS; experience in use of software such as Epi info, SAS, SPSS and working with surveillance platforms such as District Health Information Systems (DHIS2) and Open Data Kit (ODK) software
