Position Summary
- Contract Length: 6 months (with possible 3-month extension)
- Hours: Full-time or part-time (80% FTE). Preference for full-time candidates.
- Location: Home-based (Remote)
- Travel: None required
- Monthly Stipend: $600 USD (full-time)

The Role: Tech Intern
As a Tech Intern, you will play a vital role in quality assurance and support for CLEAR Global’s platforms, especially the TWB Voice Platform. Under the guidance of the Program Technology Lead, you’ll work closely with both the product and development teams to ensure our language technology serves those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing of new and existing features on the TWB Voice Platform.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, document bugs, and communicate findings to developers.
- Collaborate with the development team to track deadlines, retest fixes, and report to the product team.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, user guides, and workflow notes.
- Monitor platform usage, flag anomalies, and help improve workflows for contributors and partners.
- Participate in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing.
- Provide feedback to enhance usability and reliability, working closely with technical and product staff.
- Handle routine administrative and coordination tasks, including note-taking, progress tracking, and organizing meetings.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field (graduated within the last two years or currently studying).
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Strong interest in software QA, engineering, verification, validation, operational maintenance, and UX.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Desirable:
- Experience in project support within nonprofit, development, or humanitarian organizations.
- Proficiency in a second language.
