Job Title: DATA TECHNICIANS – 02 Positions
Job Location: Masaka and Hoima sites.
Reporting to: Data Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data entry and verification.
- Track participant clinic visits.
- Provide study team with organized files for data collection.
- Identify any inconsistencies within the source documents to the Data Manager for verification and editing.
- Maintain study records as per research requirements.
- Provide feedback regarding data issues to the study and project teams
- Participate in protocol team trainings and meetings.
- Assist the data manager to prepare weekly reports.
- Maintain professional GCP/HSP accreditation and complete study specific training asrequired.
- And any other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Review of study records prior to expected visits to ensure required forms are prepared and filed appropriately prior to the expected visits.
- Review of paper and or electronic CRFS of all research participants to ensure adequatecompletion, consistency and accuracy prior to and or after the participant leaving the clinic.
- Completion of the visit checklist to document visit procedures are done according tothe study protocol and visit procedures.

o A minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bio-Data Management or a related field is required. o At least 1 year working experience in a related role.
o Experience in a clinical or public health setting is an added advantage.
o Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, excel, email).
o Ability and willingness to learn quickly, good organizational skills and multitasking.
o Pay attention to detail with strong documentation skills.
