This role is responsible for the Bank’s technology hardware systems and will provide support, maintenance and management of mid-range infrastructure visibility, availability, scalability and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Implementation and support of High end and Mid- Range IT and End-User Infrastructure in line with Bank’s Vision and provisioning High Available Server and Network infrastructure.

2) Ensuring infrastructure high availability, business continuity and effective management of 24×7 Data Centre operations and high-end server and network infrastructure SLAs.

3) Design and implementation of hardware solutions to support the Banks requirements and supervise the technical execution of the same.

4) Formulation and analyzing business needs and recommend appropriate ICT End User, Network, Server and Storage infrastructure solutions to meet the Bank’s requirements.

5) Conducting performance and capacity planning and develop budgets for network and server infrastructure requirements and future projections for business.

6) Manages Remote Backups and replication of data between various end point and perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries.

7) Check all the sites antivirus site health and take action where necessary.

8) Design, evaluation and implementation of procedures and technical measures to enhance the security of Data Centre server and storage Infrastructure, Virtualized Server pool and Cloud Infrastructure.

9) Keeping up to date server and network infrastructure documentation, inventory, policies and procedural documents, disaster recovery plan and best practices that relate to hardware infrastructure.

10) Implements service delivery standards, policies and procedures to support the bank business plan, business operations and support functions.

 

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Perform a wide range of system administration duties of the Bank’s end user devices, networks , servers and server rooms and branch infrastructure including install, debug, maintain, upgrade, and general support.

2. Ensure and maintain the security and integrity of all the Banks network devices, computer rooms and Servers equipment.

3. Monitor the server, network, and data centers infrastructure, to ensure maximum availability of services across the Bank.

4. Attending ECRM and ITSM Incidents, Requests & Changes.

5. Manage and supervise direct reports.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree IT, Computer Science or related filed Required

Professional Qualifications

CCNA, MCSA, Exchange 2010 Required

Professional Qualifications

CISA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSP, CISA, VCP, MCSE Added Advantage

Experience

A minimum of 5 years experience needed.
