Job Title: CAD/GIS TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To perform surveying, design, and quality control of small water and sewer reticulation works, including measurements, preparation of plans and records, infrastructure data updates, and provision of technical support to ensure efficient municipal service delivery.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OF THE JOB

• Survey, design and construction supervision of small water and sewer lines.

• Survey and update data of water and waste water infrastructure on record/standard drawings.

• Investigate and solve water and sewer related problems.

• Keeping up to date and provide GIS information related to water and waste water to the public and internal divisions.

• Assist with the approval of Building Plans: Water and Sewer portions.

• Filling of drawings and plans for record purposes.

Skills, Experience & Education

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

Grade 12 (Passed with 20 points in 5 subjects with an E symbol in the English Language) with mathematics,.

Required experience:

A minimum of two (2) years job related experience

Legal requirements:

A Code B/BE driver’s license.

Basic salary: N$344,892.00 pa

Housing Allowance: N$137,952.00 pa

Transport Allowance: N$30,216.00 pa

Municipal Allowance: N$23,028.00 pa
