Minimum Requirements

An appropriate National Diploma or equivalent qualification on NQF Level 6 in HIV/AIDS Management, Community Development or Adult Education or Sociology.

Supplementary Requirement:

At least one (1) year of holding a Code B driver’s licence.

Main Duties

• Support projects for Orphan and Vulnerable Children and Persons Living With HIV/AIDS in the region.
• Order and distribute condoms and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
• Coordinate community awareness and sensitization on HIV/AIDS, TB, STIs and malaria.
• Provide secretariat support to RACOC, including the preparation of minutes and agendas.
• Conduct support visits to the CACOCs.
• Identify income-generating projects and submit them to the supervisor for consideration.
• Monitor and evaluate HIV/AIDS activities in the constituency through SPM.
• Carry out any other official duties assigned from time to time.
