PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To coordinate, plan and conduct Driver/Operator training and monitor and evaluate the driving performance of the Drivers/Operators and develop training programs.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OF THE JOB

• Develop and implement driver/operator training program.

• Development and implement driving and vehicle handling safety procedures and programs.

• Conduct practical driving skills assessment and evaluation of existing and candidates drivers/operators.

• Investigate driver’s/operators accidents/incidents within the division and identify training needs where applicable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

A National Certificate in Defensive Driving/Logistics post/after Grade 12

Experience required:

A minimum of three (3) years practical driving experience of heavy-duty vehicles and two (2) years driver trainer experience.

Legal requirement – Driver’s license:

A code CE driver’s license with a valid Public Authorization (PA).

Basic Salary: N$307,284.00 pa

Housing Allowance: N$122,916.00 pa

Transport Allowance: N$30,216.00 pa

Municipal Allowance: N$23,028.00 pa
