PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To render a management and engineering support function in the high voltage and medium voltage electricity project supervision for the City of Windhoek.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Performs engineering and management functions on supervision of high voltage & medium voltage projects under the Engineering Services Division.

• Perform the planning, monitoring and control of high voltage & medium voltage projects under the Engineering Services Division.

• Perform leadership, training and financial control duties.

• Perform interfacing function.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification requirements:

B Sc/B. Eng Degree (Electrical Engineering) or B-Tech Degree (Electrical Engineering)

Experience requirements:

A minimum of three (3) years post graduation experience in the electricity distribution industry.

Professional registration:

Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as an Incorporated or Professional Engineer

Legal requirement:

A code B/BE driver’s license.

Salary: N$629,364.00 p.a

Housing Allowance: N$251,748.00 p.a

Car Allowance: N$214,752.00 p.a
