PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provision of technician assistance to the Section Engineer/Engineer on water/waste water related projects, updating the water and waste water on ArcGIS database and hydraulic analysis software (WADISO & SEWSAN).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Project related tasks as assigned to by the Engineer/Section engineer

• Design and execution of small-scale ad hoc water/wastewater related projects

• Comments on erf applications and sales

• Assist the Internal & External Stakeholders with water/wastewater related projects and general queries

• Keep the water & sewer services on the ArcGIS database/system up to date

• Operate and keep the hydraulic analysis software for water (WADISO) and sewer (SEWSAN) infrastructure up to date

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

– B-Tech NQF Level 7/ National Diploma NQF Level 6: Civil Engineering, Operation of WADISO and SEWSAN software (or equivalent).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

– Three (3) years experience (after Professional Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as Engineering Technician)

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS – PROFESSIONAL STATUS:

– Registration with the Engineering Council as a Technician

LEGAL REQUIREMENT – DRIVER’S LICENSE:

– A valid code B/BE drivers license.

Salary: N$497,844.00 PA

Housing Allowance: N$199,140.00 PA

Transport Allowance: N$30,216.00 PA

Municipal Allowance: N$23,028.00 PA
