About this position
PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide safe and effective operational support to the copper processing plant and assist Plant Operators with routine plant activities, equipment care, housekeeping and production support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide operational support to Plant Operators and assist with safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Assist with routine equipment checks, cleaning and housekeeping to maintain safe and orderly work areas.
• Assist with plant start-up, shutdown, isolation and other activities as instructed and within own competence.
• Assist with loading, movement and handling of plant materials and equipment where required.
• Report abnormalities, equipment issues, unsafe conditions and relevant operational information promptly.
• Work safely in assigned areas and comply with all HSE procedures and PPE requirements.
