Background

Bummhi is a citizen-led and governed NGO providing health system strengthening services. As a Global Fund Sub-Recipient, Bummhi will implement programmes to enhance HIV prevention, reduce the burden of Tuberculosis and build resilient health systems.

Bummhi invites results-oriented, young to mid-career integrated TB/HIV services, human rights and future-oriented professionals for key positions (HSM, transgender people and female sex workers) addressing girls and young women (AGYW) and other vulnerable populations. These roles support community system strengthening (CSS), community-led monitoring (CLM) and voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC).

Title: District Nurse Coordinator ×3

Reports to: Project Officer

Duty Station: Kweneng West, Jwaneng and Kgalagadi South

Job Summary

Provide district leadership for high-quality, high-impact TB/HIV services, retain and motivate trained aides, ensure data quality, represent the site in reviews, and build partnerships.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure delivery of Global Fund-supported nursing services.
  • Deliver targeted clinical services including HIV testing and health screening.
  • Strengthen community engagement with SSBs, CBOs and stakeholders.
  • Oversee clinical data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure Global Fund compliance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Nursing.
  • Degree is an added advantage.
  • Current HIV/TB case-management knowledge.
  • Government Digital Tools knowledge.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an HIV setting.
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • NGO experience.

Title: District Monitoring & Evaluation Officer ×3

Reports to: District Nurse Coordinator

Duty Station: Kweneng West, Jwaneng and Kgalagadi South

Job Summary

Ensure TB/HIV patient and facility data are captured, analysed and reported on time using relevant Government Digital Tools.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prepare quarterly facility and district performance/data quality reports.
  • Support DHMT and Local Government reporting.
  • Mentor Bummhi, SSB and CBO staff.
  • Analyse and use data.
  • Provide technical assistance.
  • Support district PMS backups.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, IT, Health Information Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • NGO experience.
  • Knowledge of Government Digital Tools including DHIS and IPMS.

Title: Health Care Auxiliary – Multiple Posts

Reports to: Senior Health Care Auxiliary

Duty Station: Kweneng West, Jwaneng and Kgalagadi South

Job Summary

Serve as the link between facility and community implementation, supporting integrated TB/HIV services, HIV testing, patient retention and related duties.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver TB/HIV services.
  • Conduct TB screening.
  • HIV prevention.
  • Index testing.
  • HIV self-testing.
  • Link HIV-positive clients to care.
  • Trace clients who miss appointments.
  • Support community-led monitoring.
  • Use Government Digital Tools.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in HIV Testing and Counselling or Health Care Auxiliary.
  • Minimum 3 years’ TB/HIV experience.
  • TB screening/case management experience.
  • Partner Notification.
  • HIV Testing and HIVST training.
  • NGO experience.

Title: Senior Health Care Auxiliary ×2

Reports to: District Nurse Coordinator

Duty Station: Kweneng West, Jwaneng and Kgalagadi South

Job Summary

Render HCAI services within the Global Fund TB/HIV implementation model including mental health support, adherence to HTS, liaison with key populations, VMMC, sensitization and ART retention.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide facility/community TB/HIV services.
  • TB screening.
  • HIV prevention.
  • Coordinate KP disclosure.
  • Mental health clinic referrals.
  • Psychosocial support.
  • Coordinate community-led monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ TB/HIV experience.
  • Peer educator experience.
  • NGO experience.

Title: Integrated Case Manager ×7

Reports to: District Nurse Coordinator

Duty Station: Kweneng West, Jwaneng and Kgalagadi South

Job Summary

Ensure TB/HIV patient referral and facility data are captured using Government Digital Tools.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support integrated facility case identification.
  • Mentor HCAI.
  • Implement Government Digital Tools.
  • Coordinate TB/HIV data collection.
  • Support quality assurance.
  • Conduct ethical work.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Monitoring & Evaluation or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ HIV/TB screening or case-management experience.
  • NGO experience.
